You can now duplicate any page or subpage in Pages 2.0, creating an exact copy of its content and layout as an unpublished draft, ready to edit.
When last period's content is the starting point: Some pages come around again: quarterly reviews, annual policy updates, recurring team reports. The content that was already right stays in place. You're not hunting through an old page to copy sections across. Just update what's changed and publish.
When a published page needs reworking: Duplicate it, rebuild freely on the copy, and the original stays published and untouched throughout. Publish the new version when it's ready.
In the Pages 2.0 editor, go to the Pages tab in the left-hand navigation, click the three-dot menu next to the page you want to copy, and select Duplicate page.
The copy appears at the end of the page group list as "Copy of [page name]," unpublished by default.
⚠️ The duplicate inherits the page group's default permissions, not the original's custom page-level permissions. Check and adjust before publishing.
